Fortisip 2kcal is a high energy, high protein, ready to drink, milkshake style nutritional supplement, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition. Fortisip 2kcal can be used to supplement the diet of patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods, or as a sole source of nutrition. Gluten free.

Fortisip 2kcal is ready to drink and is best served chilled. Shake well before use. Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Once opened, close the bottle and store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours. The recommended dosage should be determined by a clinician or dietitian and is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient.

To freeze Fortisip 2kcal, pour it into a freezer safe container (or ice cube tray) and freeze. You can also Freeze Fortisip 2kcal in ice lolly moulds. Fortisip 2kcal should always be decanted from the bottle before freezing.

Yes, you can drink Fortisip 2kcal warmed or mixed into warm food or drink, such as coffee or macaroni and cheese. To heat, pour it into a pan and warm through gently without boiling, or decant into a microwave suitable container and warm without bringing to the boil.
